Nina Price’s clients call her “the Queen of Reinvention” because she shows them how to transform their lives in ways they never anticipated.
Nina is uniquely qualified to work with midlife executives and professionals who want to experience Midlife Without Crisis. With an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, she is a former Silicon Valley high tech marketing executive. Nina spent 20 years in the computer industry, working with Fortune 50 computer companies as well as smaller start ups, Nina decided it was time to move on.
In 2001, Nina experienced her own midlife transition. She decided she wanted to help fellow executives deal with the kinds of stress that she had experienced herself, so she became a coach. She soon noticed that her career coaching clients all seemed to have health issues that were byproducts of their high stress lives or that were underlying causes of their career challenges. She realized that she wanted to deal with the whole person.
She returned to school to become a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist. while in acupuncture school she got to study in China at Zhejiang University and served as the massage therapist at Yahoo! Today she integrates massage, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with wellness coaching to help her clients create lifestyles that support their success in all aspects of their lives.
Nina feels privileged to have grown up in the museums, theaters and concert halls of New York City. She now makes her home in Palo Alto, just outside San Francisco. She has two grown daughters who have amazing careers — a veterinarian and an artist — and two granddaughters.
Nina has a wide range of interests that infuse her work with energy and creativity. She is a radio DJ (KFJC 89.7 FM) and has been on the air for 19 years. For fun she enjoys puzzles and knitting. When she feels stressed herself, she turns to music and works out regularly.
Nina is unique because she combines life coaching and academic experience with solid medical credentials. Clients say she’s an “amazing listener” who seems to “hear between the lines.”
Nina genuinely cares about the success of each one of her clients. She wants each of her clients to feel empowered to take charge of their own health and wellness. She teams up with each client to create long term changes, not quick fixes and ultimately create a lifestyle that supports success.
