Years ago I got into the habit of doing a cleanse at the turn of each season. The change of seasons is a time of energetic transition. A cleanse is an ideal way to get unstuck and prepare your body to enter a new part of the year healthy, and with plenty of energy.
For thousands of years, internal purification has been a part of each culture’s regular ritual for health. We don’t observe many of the same customs of times past, but detoxification is necessary today simply to stay healthy!
Through detoxing, we clean out excess waste matter, environmental pollutants, and chemicals that are trapped in our tissues and organs.
